Gert Mittring
Gert Mittring (born in Stuttgart on May 26, 1966) is a German mental calculator. He won the MSO mental calculation gold medal in every year from 2004 to 2011[1]. In 2004 he held 24 recognized world records for calculation. He has doctorates in psychology and education. He solves problems through an algorithmic basis and is said to have been poor in math during his school years.[2]
His first world record was calculating the 13th root of a number of one hundred digits in 13.3 seconds without support.
